Sometimes a girl can't help being a little bit naughty... Jada Dangerfield was living her fairy tale—married to her high school sweetheart and working in her dream job—until it all came crashing down. Struggling to make ends meet, the unemployed divorcée stumbles upon a decidedly naughty new income stream, selling erotic toys to the women of her small hometown. And when Jada gets the chance to host a "Naughty Nights" party at the home of her uptight life-long nemesis Mason Coleman, she realizes it’s the perfect way to get under the skin of the one person who has always made her feel as if she wasn’t good enough. Mason Coleman relishes his career as a high-powered tax attorney, but his most important job is keeping the promise he made to his father to watch out for his baby sister...even though she hasn't been a "baby" in thirty years. When he learns that his sister may be in trouble, Mason is forced to call on the one person he's never been able to abide, her brash and sexy friend, Jada Dangerfield. There's just one problem...how does he stop Jada from corrupting his sister with her kinky new business? When this unlikely pair is forced to work together, things get a little bit naughty.

I had read A Perfect Fling a few years back and enjoyed the story. It is a short and sweet holiday romance. At the time I gave it 4 stars noting that it did its job. It was a super quick read that gave me a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I recently downloaded this bundle pack of the first two books in the series so gave the first book a reread as a refresher. Although this time through I found a few other issues with the writing, I decided to let the 4 stars stand. It still works for what it seems to be meant for.
Unfortunately, those little writing issues from the first story carried over and multiplied in the second book. While reading A Little Bit Naughty I couldn’t help but wonder if the author even had anyone else read the story before it was published. The actual story and characters are lovely and fun, but when an author writes “that faithful night” when she means “that FATEFUL night” it just takes me out of the story. And that’s not the only issue. The writing just didn’t flow and the language was elementary and these issues kept jolting me from the fictional world Ms. Rochon had created. Honestly this book was only finished because it was so short.
As much as I enjoy the stories this author has to tell, I have too many other books I want to read to slog through the mediocre writing.
