0Oh how I have wondered who would be enough to break down Vance's walls and if Vance would actually allow himself to open himself up to someone but Dare was not the one I expected but he was absolutely perfect for Vance. I liked how at the beginning we backed up a bit in the ongoing story arc so previous primary stories become the background and set up of Vance and Dare's which was great to relive some of the things from the past couple of books. Not only do we get to see Vance slowly deal with why he is so closed off to everyone and his feelings, but also get to see the real Vance that we only got a glimpse of every now and then. There are plenty of laughs, frustrations, crazy families, loads of feelings and some shocking revelations about the Aldridge patriarch that answers a lot of questions and also leaves you wondering about ....well you have to read it to find out ;)
0I loved reading this M/M love story, its not my usual read but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved watching Vance and Dare's relationship unfold & grow while they both deny wanting it. This was a good, easy read and I always enjoy a romance. I'm definitely going to be reading more from Claudia Burgoa in the future!
