Some women are just off-limits. Especially, your smoking hot live-in nanny. But when I met the gorgeous, sharp tongue young woman, I knew I was in trouble. When she stormed into my office, ignoring the fact that I was on the phone, I knew she was different. She doesn’t seem impressed by my good looks and financial success. She might irritate me but her amazing curves hold my attention like no other. When a threatening situation arises from the past, it creates an unbreakable bond between us. I need to protect this beautiful woman and precious little girl who are now my whole world. I was on my own for so long, only caring about my business and success, and now none of that seems to matter. Up until now, I thought my money could solve all my problems. Now I would give it all away just to keep them safe.

Marcus has suddenly become the guardian for his niece. He's busy with business, but he also wants her to be well cared for so he takes on the task of finding a nanny himself. When Abigail comes to interview, they do not get along at all and he is going to dismiss her. On the way out, she connects with his niece Megan and Marcus reconsiders his decision. Megan does not usually connect well with anyone (including him, a bit). Because Megan really seems to like and connect with Abigail, the adults agree that they can be adults and be civil. Well, of course, they can't because they like to pick and poke at each other. Pretty soon, though, it's way more than that.
There is also a suspenseful element here that has both Megan and Abigail under threat and that really cemented how Marcus felt about them being a family.
