Hopecore books
For when things seem hopeless. We can always try again and again โค๏ธ
This list is a community project, I asked in the club and received multiple suggestions which I then added onto a list: fiction and nonfiction, fantasy, contemporary, sci-fi, the main theme is just hope. Some people said their recommendation might not fit very well but I added it anyways.
Also, in the og post, I mentioned The Good Place and if people have recommendations tending to that, so some books are related to that.

The Good Place
Books from NBC's The Good Place.
"What matters isn't if people are good or bad. What matters is if they're trying to be better today than they were yesterday."

The Moral Compass and its Ethics
Do you believe in a certain truth of everything, that there is a all encompassing moral code we all should adhere to? Think you know how it works and what is actually right or wrong? Is it ethical to have moral beliefs? Think again! Or better yet, read these books on morality, right vs wrong, inherent truths and much more before stating your opinion as absolute!

So you watched the Good Place
This (unfinished!) list contains either books on the afterlife, either books that I could find related to the Good Place, including, of course, What We Owe to Each Other and Michael Schur's book. Some of the books were recommended to me, so recommendations always welcomed!
