Polymath Training Challenge, Best Of
Polymath Training Challenge is a non-fiction reading challenge that has been running on a Hungarian book site for the past 11 years. Each year it has 12 categories that participants have to pick their own nonfiction reads for (incl. memoirs and biographies). I have discovered several amazing nonfiction books through this challenge, so I decided to make a list of the best, and most mind-blowing, of them so far.

Yinz Should Read This
Look, we love the yellow bridges as much as the next person, even if navigating them takes blind faith in your GPS. But once you survive the Fort Pitt tunnel merge, you realize the story here stretches past the skyline.
Think of this as a running mixtape: local history and stories from steep hills and old brick streets. A steady mix whether your people go back generations in the coal and steel towns or you just figured out how to pronounce Youghiogheny. Read along.

Nonfiction from the Screen
Nonfiction books I came across because of references that were made in movies or TV shows. Sometimes, I see something cool in a historical TV show, and I go down a rabbit hole to read more.
