Still a huge fan of Melissa Foster, and this story was awesome. I will admit I was a bit concerned with a sighted person writing a blind woman (who is a writer to boot!), but I think this was done very well. I can't speak for the blind community since I'm sighted myself, but I know this book brought some things to the forefront that I hadn't really thought about. Although it would have been nice to get a bit more info on how exactly Janie gets ready every morning. But I'm sure the author was trying to stay away from making this a "how to" book.

I loved the chemistry between Janie and Boyd. It was great that they had secretly been enamored with one another and it just took one thing (albeit a scary thing) to have all the pieces start falling into place.

Although this is a Remington book, I liked that it wasn't so deep into a Remington character that we had to get the whole rehash and trying to remember who everyone is. This was a bit more lax in that area and I have to say that's okay.

I'm glad to hear we will be seeing more of Kiki. I loved her and her way of looking at life.
