Because apparently women’s bodies are still elective in Science 101! Non-Fiction all about women's (all variations) health and the lack of research behind it.

These book covers all have a certain anatomical resemblance in common, from subtle and subversive to in-your-face. These books span non-fiction and fiction, menstrual health, desire, taboo, dystopia, and more.

This list is inspired by a day when a few people had updates involving Tampa and I was like, “wait, is that…?”

A collection of mostly Non-Fiction books about disability and why it sucks to be disabled in the system. Note: Not all books are about disability, I put a few on this list because I think they would fit in with the idea of the list pretty well 2nd note: I haven't read all books yet Last note: I explained in a comment why I added some books

A variety of books on female health, including educational books on the menstrual cycle, fertility, sex, pregnancy, and menopause. Where some books go deeper into endometriosis, PCOS and/or adenomyosis. As well as books covering the misogyny and discrimination within women’s healthcare currently and throughout history. The righteous feministic anger we feel towards the mistreatment, lack of research, and utter disrespect we face as women in medicine. Also cookbooks for those interested.

Books about sexual & reproductive justice + health. Including abortion, contraception, pregnancy, childbirth, kink, sexuality, STIs, and more. The term reproductive justice is from SisterSong and is inherently an intersectional, political, and affirming framework. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled perspectives highlighted.
