This was interesting—I was drawn in instantly with the drama and ‘best friend’ I loved to hate, and it escalated from there with a bit of adventure.

This wove a fun plot with adventure … danger … action … a bit of steam and then some romance … with some incredible character development. Honestly, it was pretty expertly designed and I’d absolutely read more from this author.

    NB representation.
    Mention of miscarr!age.
    Survivalism.
    Forced proximity / one bed.
    Broken hero.
    Broken heroine.
    Self discovery.
    New beginnings … and ends.
    Aut!sm representation.

    Overall:
Packed lots of feels, was fun, and I couldn’t help but admire the writing skill.
    Excellent.
And the ND representation was spot-on, at least for me who found so much of it relatable.
    4.5 stars.
