Texts that teachers at Texas Tech have been warned not to teach

Recommended Latino and Hispanic books. Leave other Recs in comments.

Stories we don’t just read, we recognize. Latinx books that feel like home, memory, family, language, love, loss, and the little rebellions we inherit and create. Books for daughters, mothers, tias, mujeres finding their voice, and anyone who grew up between cultures with cafecito in one hand and big feelings in the other.

Maybe soon."
