Reread April 2024: Please put the entire contents of these two books on my gravestone. Thank you.

Reread March 2022: I still fucking love this book and I will be reading it until the day I die. Thank you.

Re-read November 2020: Man, I do love Trent and Drew. (':

What I said the first go around still stands true. There was a LOT of homophobia in here, which isn't fun, for obvious reasons. I also still wish there was more racing. But Trent and Drew are amazing. Arrow is my adorable precious bean and I LOVE him.

And now I just have to read fate and I'm DONE.

So this took me forever to read, but not because I wasn't enjoying it but just because during this pandemic, I've been taking time to watch a lot of TV I've been meaning to watch instead of reading. Normally I spend tons of time reading and very little watching TV, and recently I've been doing the opposite. Not a big deal. We all gotta do what we gotta do!

That being said, though I took forever to read this, I still REALLY enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first one, but that being said, the first one is my exact FAVORITE kind of romance pretty much. In this one, they were already together and there was very little tension or conflict between them. Which is fine. The smut was A+ at least. It was incredibly cheesy, not that I mind, and it was a lot more focused on homophobia than I would normally enjoy. I also kind of wished there was more of the racing aspect in this.

But it was still enjoyable, Trent and Drew are still goals, and I still plan on reading the rest of the series. (The next book is Joey and Lorhaven and then Arrow is getting a book, and MAN, I'm excited.)
