every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

Queer knights, paladins, and slayers with a penchant for kneeling pathetically at the altar of their love. Oaths and yearning aplenty.

Kudzu climbs up the hills, katydids sing in the hollers, and there's something calling from the woods...

Think: whistling winds, howling coyotes, rural isolation, small towns, folklore, religious fanaticism, and ghostly voices coming from the forest

Aside from the obvious recommendation of all the books written about the game itself, these are books that gave me similar vibes to when I played the games. Others are here because they reminded me of a romanceable character, or because they had similar character arcs!
