I enjoyed this one, but the pacing in the first half was a little slower than I would have liked. I enjoyed the characters. I thought they felt realistic and their motivations made sense. I kind of wish more was done with the fungal horror side of things. It did ramp up in the second half but I think there were opportunities to take it a little further. But overall, I would definitely recommend this book. It's a nice take on fungal horror and a quick read.
