Arya is working as a nurse for Tristan's grandparents. Tristan is her brother's longtime friend and she has had a crush on him since she was young. When Tristan returns to town for the summer following his divorce, they explore a relationship. Can they get past their mistrust and miscommunications to make a future together? Or will his meddling mother be the final straw?
I loved Arya and Tristan but oooh, sometimes I wanted to knock both of them in the head and tell them that they needed to talk to each other. I know that they were worried about what would happen with her brother/his best friend and his mother and his ex, but most of it could have been avoided if they would talk to each other. Now, Tristan's mother? She was almost evil in the way that she was pushing him to stay with his ex and then ruining everything for Arya's family. I guess Arya and Tristan got the last laugh on that, but she was the perfect evil character in this story.
