This is giving me vibes from her book The Surrogate Mother. I'm enjoying this way better than The Crash so far. I am speeding through it, but I'm not sure. I need a Freida McFadden break, I think. Her books are addictive and pretty entertaining, but something hasn't been hitting right. I don't know how to explain. I love thrillers for the tension and edge-of-your-seat suspense, but lately her books have been providing stress from start to finish. Of course, with thrillers comes some stress, but this is pure stress. My watch even asked me if I was stressed while reading this. Yes, since Whitney made an appearance. I don't know...I like tidbits of stress not the whole thing. Does anyone understand what I am saying hahah or am I making zero sense haha.
