I had to read a summary for There will Come a Darkness prior to reading this book, and I’m glad that I did. You get throw right in, and there are no reminders about what happened in book 1. The first few chapters had me worried, I’m not going to lie. However, the stride was found, and I soared thru the book. Can’t wait to see what happens next. Though I’m sure I’ll need a summary before book 3 again with a year until that one is published, and that it’s highly unlikely that one will offer refreshers also.
