MIDNIGHT PROMISES BY ADDISON BECK ARC REVIEW
I love a good taboo romance and Addison Beck did not disappoint with Midnight Promises. This book is a rollercoaster full of angst, toxicity, love, and secrets.
In the beginning, both Matteo and Theo were lost souls. They had an instant spark and connection they couldn’t deny.
Matteo felt this deep sadness within Theo and Theo needed someone to understand him and Matteo understood Theo better than anyone else had, better than his wife.
Despite the cheating trope in this book done by Theo against his wife, I can understand his reasoning. Theo and his wife Clara has been struggling with their marriage for years now but neither of them wanted to admit it. And everything changed when Theo met Matteo.
I loved Theo and Matteo so much. My heart broke for both of them. Theo and Matteo was the right people, but wrong time and wrong place. Their burning passion was profound. It seemed like they could never be together, they didn’t make the best of choices but love finds you in mysterious ways and will always win in the end. They were meant to be together.
Overall, Addison Beck has once again wrote an amazing and beautiful story. She writes the most real and raw characters that moves you in ways that leaves you feeling wanting more. Thank you so much to the author for sending me an ARC to read and review.
