Eh, not my favorite of hers. The setting is lovely, the characters are complex and the topics are relevant but it still fell short for me. so many sad events, lot of angst-ing around without much growth. And while I’m usually fine with an unlikeable character or 2, must all of them be valid and annoying? And fat shaming. I don’t want to spoil anything but I wish had known about these: TW for suicide, infant death, infidelity.
