The cover really had me fooled because wow I just did not enjoy this in the slightest.

I will be spoiling what happens in this book with some of my examples but honestly, it’s no big deal because I’m not recommending you read this.

This 40-page novella really just feels like a skeleton of a story. As if all the basics were there, scenes were somewhat worked out, but it still needed a lot of work. I felt like everything was so underdeveloped and the story just wasn’t ready to be published. One example of this is Chelsea’s revenge plot. After finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her she records herself doing the deed with his best friend and recording it, she tells his friend to keep it a secret for now. That’s it. Yes I mean that is all we hear about that, it never goes any farther. As I said, it feels like the basic ideas were there but then nothing was done with them.

So since I’m mentioning the skeleton of a story let me just tell you what happens

Chelsea starts by leaving her friends and boyfriends to go to work, they think she’s just an uber driver but she is also a cam girl. Chelsea ubers for this guy named Connor, they make sexual innuendos to each other, she tells him about her cam business and gives him the username, then they make out. He invites her to his yacht the next day. She goes to her cam girl office and goes live. Connor joins and sends her $15,000 dollars for her hard work. She wakes up the next morning to her boyfriends best friend being there, they make out, she feels bad about her boyfriend but then he tells her that her best friend and the boyfriend have been cheating for the last year and that they all watch her cam girl sessions and do the deed. She’s mad so she records them doing the deed. Then a car picks her up to go to the yacht and Connor is there with 2 of his friends. They all do the deed on the yacht. The end.

The writing and dialogue really just killed and ran over the whole thing for me. My god, the dialogue was just….. I don’t even know how to describe it so let me just quote some of it for you:

“I had a feeling that something was going on with the two of them, but I had no idea you were in on it too. Wow. That really pisses me off because I have been faithful and respectful of Cody, and this is what you guys have been up to.”

Now besides the fact that she was not in fact faithful because we literally just saw a scene of her making out with Connor, the grown man, and had just made out with the best friend before knowing the cheating information…. the writing is just so robotic. Like I don’t know any person that actually talks like that.

“Sweetheart, Daddy wants you to **** on Michael’s ****, baby. Can you show him what good little girls do for their daddies, honey?”

The first thing I’d like to say is I have no issues with the daddy kink, I just recently gave a 5-star review to a book that had this kink but oh my god in this book it’s just awful. I think what annoys me the most here are the 3 terms of endearment all in the same thought. THIS WAS ALL THE TIME. I don’t know if it’s just personal preference but it is not necessary to use 2 or 3 terms like honey, sweetheart, baby, all in the same sentence. And when I say this was all the time, I mean literally every time Connor spoke. It became so repetitive and annoying.

I’m only going to include those two quotes because I honestly don’t want to reread anymore, you get the gist.

I really disliked this and it’s not what I thought it was going to be.
