There's a lot to be said about your 20s, but life afterwards is just as sweet! Here is a list of books where the FMC is age 30+ so you can enjoy a little more maturity and a totally different POV on life. next up in the series is Ell Potter! they have a wide range, from litfic to romance to thrillers to cozy fantasy. named one of audible’s break out stars, Ell has a soothing voice and their cadence just scratches an itch in my brain in the best way. Like my last list, I’ve avoided Audible exclusives so everyone can access these titles through Libby, Hoopla, or Libro.fm.

Queer stories set in the past

Stories set in Regency-era England, filled with elegant ballrooms, strict social rules, and romance in the style of Bridgerton.

I'm always looking for good disability rep in a good story, both fiction and non. Note on The Luminaries: specifically included for its rep of a MC who needs glasses, where it isn’t forgotten by the 2nd half of the story. Note on Set the Record Straight: I’ve chosen to focus on physical disabilities/chronic illnesses in this list - this is the exception. I thought it had such a good rep of neurodiversity that I had to include it.
