Recs if you like The Wicker King...

Books with obsessive and/or codependent queer relationships (relationship doesn't have to be canon but the vibes™ should be there)

I’ve seen lists, but not one strictly about Ergodic/odd formatting where it’s vital to read the e/physical because of the formatting and/or text —non inclusive of illustrated versions, and just adding non-vital images, etc.

These are the books where if you don’t read the physical (maybe the ebook) you’re MISSING something VITAL to the experience.

I often read audiobooks and don’t know I’m missing out 🫠

PLS recommend W/ explanation (& avoid spoilers) & feel free to argue cases!!

Just because you are queer doesn't mean you have your life together

as comprehensive a guide to ya horror as i can make it! work in progress, suggestions welcome ♡

a lot of what i read is what i see talked about, books at the top of search results, books face out at bookshops, etc. i never really stopped to consider how many of those books were written by white authors, so i have set a task to be more conscious of the cultural and ethnic diversity in my reading and thought to make a list to keep track of what i’ve read and what i want to read.

please feel free to comment any recommendations!

I’ve not read all so if some are misplaced, let me know!! Also, recommendations are welcomed!

codependent yaoi/yuri/queer situationships, friendship or relationships 💔 some may be toxic. open to suggestions especially sapphic ones

YA novels with mental health representation.

Weird queer titles including (but not limited to one or all): nature components, body horror, horror and/or fantasy. General / adult fiction mostly

I have read most of these titles

In progress/ updated over time Recommendations welcome!!

Books written by disabled authors with disabled main characters. These books include a wide range of disabilities in YA genres as well as diverse authors and topics. (Please also see Disabled Authors Writing Disabled Characters for "adult" books).

Books that have Hanahaki diseases vibes (or as closest you can get to this niche fanfic based trope)

books that make you feel like you’re on drugs, while also feeling like you should be taking drugs to properaly appreciate the book or the “wtf is going on” books

I've noticed that a lot of books mentioned rock group phenom The Beatles so I made a list of the ones I've read, idk

i want fog. i want falling leaves. i want mystery.

I did it with sapphic books, of course, I have to do the same for the G! Romantic or not, we love a good situationship or just a wtfship. Especially when it's acchilean.

I will keep adding to the list when I find new books fitting it
