This is a unique series. It’s is paranormal, but has a different world with shifters, wendigoag (aka wendigos - a sort of demon) and takes place in a sort of futuristic, dystopian world (which is depicted more in the first book. In Wendigo Hunting, Rosie is still dealing with all the events from Book 1. I really like the world building and over-arching storyline with the conflicts between the bear and wolf shifters and wendigos. For me the part that I struggled with was the relationships. I thought she forgave Sam too quickly and the guys agreed to the relationship dynamics too quickly. That being said, I enjoy this series and will be reading Book 3 when it releases.
