Some people fall in love. Others are pushed. Sophie Anderson knows two things for certain — people can’t be trusted, and she will not date coworker Mitch Langford. With his backwards cap and annoying goofiness, she’ll let him into her bed before she ever lets him into her heart. Mitch would give up valuable body parts if Sophie gave him a chance. Not the main one, but like, his left leg or something. She’s gorgeous and cagey and secretly a bit of a dork, and every day he gets a little bit closer to making her smile. Sophie expects everyone to leave. Mitch is used to being underestimated. But they aren't the only ones invested in their relationship. Their imaginary friends, Levi and Eva, are ready to see their 30-year-old charges finally get their happily ever after. After watching over them for decades, Levi and Eva are convinced they know best, and are determined to make this match. The bet is get Mitch and Sophie to fall in love, using any means necessary.

I started this series when A Missing Connection was released earlier this year and god damn I never looked back! I have enjoyed reading these Novellas and I would say that The Forces of Love is by far the SPICIEST out of everything in the series. Mitch is probably top 2 book boyfriend at this point, just behind Ethan of course.
Anyway I digress.. Let me tell you about the story of Mitch & Sophie <3
Sophie doesn't trust anyone since her dad & Meg. She is quite happy to work on her own and not make any friends, she already had the best one anyway. Who can replace Levi, Sophie's imaginary friend that has been with her since she was a child.
Mitch is a smart guy, can eff up at times but he knows his stuff. He looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll. Mitch knows that with Eva's guidance, his imaginary friend, he will be okay.
Things I like:
> I love that Mitch doesn't roll over and knows when to bite back whenever Sophie becomes too bitchy
> Just like the rest of the titles in the series you can finish this in less than 24 hours bestie! I love that it always delivers as a palette cleanser for me in between Fantasies
> I love the spice ugh the spice! The spice is there, it's not as descriptive but you will know it bestie..
> this closes the series perfectly!
Things I have feelings on:
> The cameo on the tercentennial event, I get that it was relevant to show that Mitch was open to being attracted to other genders just like Sophie but the level of interest that was shown on the epilogue felt pushed? If it was something that we wanted to established I think we could have included it anywhere else other than the epilogue. That is all <3
