Recs if you like The Ruin of a Rake...

I don't like you, even if you're sexy. Oh wait, actually I like you way too much 😈

MM 🏳️‍🌈 enemies or rivals or adversaries or nemesis or antagonists or competitors or people-who-don't think-especially-high-of-eachother to ❤️Lovers❤️. Usually at least one person falls incredibly hard for the other and goes from obsessive hate to realizing that they're just proper obsessed with their love interest and turns into an gooey marshmallow 😘.

A list of faves

Never read a historical romance? Choose one of these! All the balls, the inheritances, the petticoats, the rakes, and the reputations. May or may not be the first book in a series (but if it's on this list, my recommendation would be to just go ahead and read it)! Amazing writers doing incredible work building truly beautiful love stories in a world and time different from ours. All sex on the page (steaminess levels vary), all HEA (of course).

Boys falling in love in waistcoats, cravats, and buckskin breeches. Lots of excellent kissing, stripping down to shirtsleeves, and uh- reaching for the salve (often the medicinal salve that was applied to an open wound on the previous page).
