Tender ISN'T the Flesh
So you wanna go vegetarian, vegan, or plant based after the trauma of reading Tender is the Flesh? I got you. (jk, I've been mostly vegan for over a decade and just figured I should make a list). None of this is medical or nutritional advise, talk to a professional about that.

Parable of the sower inspired list
So one of the parts that stood out to me from this book was her learning from her dad’s library before things got bad. Plant identification, learning to preserve food, cook those kind of skills and others. This will probably end up a long and I’m also super aware that homesteading and it’s like has become a wee bit radicalised by the right, so whilst I’m gonna try to make a effort to avoid those authors it’s easy to miss. Just let me know if someone is atrocious Also suggestions very welcome!

Vegan Cooking for The Overwhelmed
This is a list of cookbooks and guides to lead a more plant-based lifestyle, even if you aren't a vegan. Some good nonfiction/theory is thrown in here too! Don't eat the homies <3
