This Bonus scene is a short story with Titus, Cyrus and Claire and is available for free exclusively with Lexi C. Foss's newsletter subscription. I despised him. I wanted him. He was a fucking dick. And he kissed me like a motherfucking god. Never had I desired a male before in my life, but Cyrus had gotten under my skin. It was this damn mating bond with Claire. Or maybe it was the man himself. Because he’d possessed this weird intensity over me from the beginning, which our connecting to Claire only seemed to enhance. Part hatred. Part adoration. And a hell of a lot mutual respect. His tongue fought mine, his need for dominance directly at war with my own. Which only made this so much more enticing. But it was the arousal coming from Claire that truly intensified the moment. I tore away from Cyrus to find her gaping us, her cheeks flushed a pretty shade of pink. “I think she likes it,” Cyrus mused, his lips trailing along my jaw before nipping sharply at my chin. “Should we give her a show or invite her to play?”

I finally scored a copy of this after I’d already read books 1-3 in the Elemental Fae Academy trilogy and Peaches and Promises so it served as a much-needed fix of the world. It’s a super short read, under 30 minutes but in that time manages to pack a ton of heat and wit. I strongly recommend checking it out … and I recommend doing so after you’ve already read EFA and become familiar with the characters, as this way it may flow better.

    4 stars.
