This was such a sweet read. I can totally relate to Avery and the religious background and the disconnect when it comes to sexual relationships. I totally totally saw myself in her, even still as a wife and mother of three beautiful boys. I also loved the added information about endometriosis. I knew that it was a medical condition that can affect womens health, but I didnt know the extent of how many women have to suffer with that level of pain and discomfort.
The overall story bases around Avery and her trying to date and find a man that will be ok with her dysfunction. But of course, men, so she has to go through some pretty traumatic situations. Until she is finally brought to her diagnosis by the person she least expected to help her. It is a journey and I am just so happy she was able to find a partner that was willing to help her and not rush her. I was smiling so much at the end and it was just such a sweet way to end this whole exhausting and just traumatic journey.
