I LOVED IT. It's a very good urban fantasy romance and I liked all the characters. This book hooked me up and I read it all at once. When I wasn't reading for whatever reason, I kept thinking about it, waiting for at least 2 minutes to read another page.

The world of the Guild Hunter saga is well constructed and has a lot of depth. It's original and doesn't have the usual clichés about angels and vampires. The characters are also unique and well written, it's far from being one of those books where the characters' storyline and personality is just secondary: Raphael and Elena both have several different layers to their personality that I've loved to discover not only in this book, but in the next ones. Same for side characters that you discover way more in the next books... I've read a lot of books and honestly it's one of the few I've read where ALL the characters are unique and have an interesting storyline, and god knows how many different characters there is.

Explicit scenes are well written in my opinion. There's a lot of them but it doesn't feel like there's too much and there is enough storyline to not make it another erotic novel only centered around sex.

Overall, Angel's Blood is a really good book and I have nothing bad to say about it. It is in my top5 of Guild Hunter books so clearly one of the best of the serie. If you do not plan to read all 12 of them (or 15 because as of now 3 more books are planned) do not start this serie though because this book doesn't work as a stand alone, most (if not all) questions asked in this book get answered in the next ones.
