Oh my GOD. I will never stop loving the FAYZ series. Yes, some of the characters are different. However, the old ones are still there and some of them are very well involved!
It's ridiculous that I started ACTUALLY CRYING when

SpoilerDekka visited the graveyard and read over all of the names of the dead and then WHAAAAAT ran into Diana.

The book itself was incredible. A big picture view of the FAYZ, with the whole world being impacted by it this time. Once I started the book, I was sucked in (except for that large chunk of reading break that I took because life sucks). Michael Grant paints such a clear and perfect picture in your head with every single scene. It's like I was practically there.

I love that at the end of the book
Spoiler he introduces Sam Temple back YAAAAAY! Not that I was head over heels for Sam or anything, but I just love how he is EVER SO SLOWLY bringing the old characters back. It's like a really nice reunion.

I honestly cannot wait for the second book. I am hooked.
