Recs if you like Coda, Vol. 1...

I know there are some comic book lists out there, but I was thinking about making a list of comic book series I think people should not miss (or books I would put in a Starte Pack type quest). I am excluding graphic novels and focusing on multiple-volume comics. I am only adding the first volume of each.

Maybe you've got bored of seeing the same old Marvel/DC comics at the bookstore and you're looking for something from a different place? Here's a list of Graphic Novels that mainly fill an SF, SFF or Fantasy niche that are not from Marvel or DC (barring Vertigo imprint) publishers.

This is still a work in progress.

A lot of people ask me where to start with reading comics. This list will feature plenty of standalone series and one-offs. But anything from a serialized series will feature a good jumping on point.

I'm going to try and not have any repetition with creators, just to keep things broad.
