Overall, I really liked this story. Nora is an intriguing character. She really hasn't had anyone she could depend on. She finds herself under suspicion after a school shooting, which was done by a past foster brother of hers. Her struggles with the publics perceptions seem very real. Due to her own injuries she finds herself needing help, and in steps Ryan, the legal aid intern. I did find it a little unbelievable that it would be okay for him to take her home from the hospital with him being a part of the legal representation, and that she would go home with someone that is essentially a stranger. Although she is in a desperate situation. This is a reverse harem story, and I liked how each guy was distinct and the relationship that Nora has with each is different. There is clearly a set up for a mystery that will continue into the next books and I am intrigued to find out where that will lead.
