What a fantastic novella that I couldn't get enough of.
If you like dark humour, horror, and a crazy serial killer duo, THIS IS A MUST!
Dalton and Rayna give me Joker and Harley Quinn vibes. They are unhinged, depraved, and oh so fun!
I never know what to expect with Lauren's traumances, but oh my goodness, I loved every minute of it.
Dalton, isn't your typical MMC. He has this sensitive, insecure side. When he kills, he cares about the type of person he kills, and he won't kill animals. He is definitely unhinged, I mean, the heart scene was truly something. But, I think the way he talks about his insecurities and being different humanises him. You really do feel for him. I loved his character from the very beginning and will always have a soft spot for him.
Rayna, where I do even begin with her? She is a strong FMC, and she has gone through intense trauma and abuse, but she never lets that hold her back. Rayna is pretty much the mastermind behind all the depravity. Girl is seriously unhinged. Frankenpeen and taxidermy. Need I say more?
They are such a wild duo, and I honestly would read more of their adventures. This was such a fun Halloween read!
Lauren, I absolutely love how you bring your imagination to life. Every detail is so vivid, memorable, and takes the reader on a journey!
