Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.

Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.

Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).

books where characters are given a do-over or fast-forward moment in an attempt to "fix" their life, but sometimes things don't need fixing

if they are not constantly sassing each other i don't want it

i love the angst and yearning of second chance romance but i am SICK AND TIRED of dual timelines. i do not have the patience to spend the whole book chasing the Big Reveal only for it to be cheating. or some pointless disagreement. hence this list of second chance books with only one timeline! recs welcome & appreciated :)
