Magda is a career minded young lawyer who is looking to get established and get ahead. She starts working for the firm that was started by Roarke Brentwood, her father's best friend. He doesn't have a good track record for marriages since he's been divorced three times. That's ok with Magda, she isn't interested in him that way, she finds him annoying, and she just wants to do her job. But as they spend more time together, the more intriguing she finds him.
