history you probably didn't learn in school

I have yet to see a list that covered lesbian nonfiction so I decided to make one! Suggestions welcome! I may not have read all on this list yet!

So much LGBTQ+ history! A lot of this is centered in the US, though there are some exceptions and I'm trying to grow it all the time. Note that I have an HIV / AIDS list that a lot of queer history, especially around the 80s + 90s. So check that one out for more

a masterlist of non-fiction books (including memoirs) on Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. many of these are from my classes in university. however, I have not read all the books on this list, so some are included based on the summary, reviews, and of course your suggestions!
