Austen Inspired
Books that adapt, retell, and pull inspiration from Jane Austen's works.

Teenage Sleuth Chronicles, Girls edition
Inspired by theaisreading and my love for teenage detectives and crime stories, I need a list which collects them all. Whether itβs missing secrets or suspicious suspects, these young, sometimes unintentional, detectives are always one step ahead and rarely play by the rules. From cozy to high stake. We don't judge. Feel free to recommend books I've missed and you like!

Now That's What I Call an Austen Adaptation!
Why do we rewatch the 1995 and 2005 adaptations of Pride and Prejudice over and over again? Because it's a timeless story of love! So iconic are Austen's six novels that you can plop the characters and plot shapes in different times, countries, and planets, and you'll still feel the original at its core. This list is book adaptations (published fanfiction) of all six of Austen's novels. The character names don't have to match exactly, but we should know which book it's riffing off from.

Best Young Adult Books To Read
I love YA. It can suck pretty bad when the books try to copy each other. But when some of those gems pop up...wowza! Who knew you could tell such a hard-hitting story without having to resort to 1,000 pages & sex?
