Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

He's my ex's dad. My new boss. And now my baby daddy... A few self-reminders when working for Dr. Sexy McCormick: Don't imagine him shirtless. Don't sleep with him. And definitely don't fall hard for him because the last thing I need is another heartbreak. I never seem to be good at keeping things in check. In my defense, I didn't expect Dr. McCormick to be the one who comforts me when his cheating son ruins my life. Plus, I can't help the attraction that pulls us like magnets. Behind that bossy cold gaze, I knew he secretly wants me--bad. On his office desk. In the empty hallway. And eventually on his bed. Then comes his proposal... No strings attached. Free to back out at any point. Resist touching each other at work. Sounds simple? Yes. Easy? No. Not when I find out he's the father of my baby...

Becca shows up to surprise her fiance and gets a surprise herself -- he is with someone else. She is upset with him and leaves, but he decides he not finished with her. He sends naked pictures of her to everyone at her work, costing Becca her job. Becca decides the only thing that she can do is go and get really drunk. While she is intoxicated, she decides that confronting her cheating ex is the thing to do and she goes to his home. He isn't there, but his father, Griffin, is. When he listens to Becca's story, he wonders where he has gone wrong with his son. She gets carried away and kisses him. To protect Becca, he allows her to spend the night at the home (in separate rooms). Griffin says that he will help her get her job back, but she has decided that she would rather work for him.

I was intrigued by the idea of this story in that there was an age gap and a surprise pregnancy. I thought these people were very dramatic, though, and in more than one place I was just like, will you people talk to each other? It was so frustrating they would just feel how they felt and not bother to see how the others might react. Overall, a really good story though.
