Billionaire Fake Date

Billionaire Fake Date

Emma Blake

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Moaning on my boss’s desk with my legs falling open isn’t exactly what I had in mind when I took this high-paying contract. I felt like I had finally “made it” as an artist. When I’m commissioned by the hottest, most desirable DILF bachelor in town, he challenges my self-control. He’s secretly using me to keep his match-making brother off his back – sharing photos to make it look like we’re dating. And when we accidentally brush up against each other in his office, it’s goodbye professionalism. Now I’m shamelessly begging for more on his fancy desk and I’m not sure where this is heading. I still have to complete these projects and it’s not like this relationship can actually go anywhere. He’s way older. And rich. AND he has an amazing daughter to think of. There’s no way someone like him would be interested in a starving artist like me. Right?

Layla is a struggling artist and she contracts with billionaire Troy to paint a mural for his daughter. They instantly have a spark, but Troy thinks he doesn't want more with Layla because of his daughter and the memory of his late wife. But the more he tries to stay away from Layla, the more Troy realizes that he wants her. Plus his brother is meddling and trying to set him up on dates and so Troy pretends that he is dating Layla, but he forgets to clue her in on the ruse. Can they work through their issues to get a happily ever after?

This is a sweet and refreshing story with a little bit of spice thrown in for good measure. The characters are all likable and I was rooting for Troy and Layla. They seemed perfect for each other in that Troy gives Layla order and Layla makes Troy let loose and add a little color to his life.
