I’ve been friend-zoned by the girl I like. Now she’s flirting with my brother. It drives me crazy—not that I’d say a word. My brother says it’s a ruse. She’s into me but has no idea how to get my attention. Luckily for her, her plan is working. She’s hiding something, and I don’t appreciate secrets. I especially hate lies. I’m not letting her close until she tells me the truth. Except the truth might destroy us. Because the secret she’s been hiding all this time … is almost unforgivable. And the second secret… It’s a bombshell that’ll change the life of every resident in Cross Creek.

This was a good read, neither Ethan nor Angie are good at relationships or really letting someone know how much they like them much to everyone's enjoyment. I didn't connect with Ethan or Angie as much as the others in the series as their attraction seemed subtle and not strong so it seemed they liked each other more than loved. There were some good laughs though as well as twists an secrets and as the book went on and got to the more nitty gritty I connected more with Angie and got the passion she had for doing what she did and the secrets when they come out stir a lot of emotion.
