Books that feel like an A24 film
Books that are atmospheric, emotionally unsettling, beautifully written, a little weird, and linger long after you finish them.

Horror in < 200 pages
Horror books with a page count of 200 pages or less.
Before we started defining novellas by word count, they were defined as being any book less than 200 pages. Source: my Analysis of Short Stories & Literature professor in community college. I loved that class. But he loved James Joyce. So, ymmv, I guess.

Stories That Feel Suffocating
Tight spaces. Heavy air. The creeping realization that escape may not be possible. These are stories designed to make you feel trapped.

oh to be appalled
Depressing, rage-inducing, a collection of books that thoroughly disgusted me of the events/ the character's thoughts and/ behavior. Sometimes it's important. Sometimes it's just fun. Could be satire, social commentary, or historical!
ps. as always, please do check the TW

Books needed to understand Korea better ๐
As a fan of the country thanks to k-pop and k-drama (go watch When Life Give you Tangerine, it's 10/10) since 2020, I am trying to discover all of this culture. These books for me feel like a preview of when I will live there. I included all genres because I read kinda everything. I will keep it updated. So, enjoy, I am giving you a part of my soul.
