Recs if you like Stalking Jack the Ripper...

mystery and thriller books that are ya but perfect for adults

This includes book that have either mystery or thrillers as a primary or secondary genre. If you have recommendations to add please comment and I'll happily add them 💕

Inspired by theaisreading and my love for teenage detectives and crime stories, I need a list which collects them all. Whether it’s missing secrets or suspicious suspects, these young, sometimes unintentional, detectives are always one step ahead and rarely play by the rules. From cozy to high stake. We don't judge. Feel free to recommend books I've missed and you like!

historical romance featuring very smart ladies of academia.

always accepting suggestions for more historical academic ladies.

Teenage girls solving murders and disappearances, and humbling (incompetent) policemen in the process

that are actually incredible and completely slept on

also I use fantasy lightly, there's some dystopian and sci-fi in here too :)

If you're like me, you might have been missing out on some stellar books because they have been published as YA, despite them having more complex themes. I took to the PB Club and asked for your recommendations for books that fit that criteria; this list is a compilation of (mostly fantasy) books from suggestions from all of you! Please feel free to drop some more recommendations, all genres accepted just as long as they are published as YA 🥰

Best fantasy books with an academic rivals-to lovers romance

Series that follow the same detective/detectives solving different mysteries each book. Set in historical times, mostly the 1800s. Typically with a romance subplot 💕

Everyone is adoring the first episodes of Critical Roles newest campaign 4 with DM Brennan Lee Mulligan and our large cast of 13 members. This list is a break down of book recommendations for those apart of the Schemers Table.

Historical Fantasy with romance set around the Regency & Victorian era (read & highly rated only)

teenagers solving mysteries ! (if it's a series, only the first one is added)

books i’ve read (and liked) that made me feel the cozy calm (or dark grit) of fall

no rhyme or reason, just ✨vibes✨

**i’m including some cozy fantasy/spooky season/fall-occurring books, but this list is also meant to expand beyond those limited sub-genres to include books i think would hit different if read during fall or majorly incorporate elements i associate w fall like mountains/forests, adventures, murder, small towns, seasons of change/hardship, grittiness, dark academia, pirates, etc

Gothic horror/thriller that's irresistible and oddly lovely.

Why choose when you can have an infinite fall TBR 🤭 Here are the books that I had read in autumn but also others that I must read during this period🧸 There will be different genres such as horror, fantasy or cozy books ; and we are all here for this diversity 🍂˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚☕️

"two people so comfy with one another they are constantly bickering, but it's witty and so warm that everyone around them sees how in love they are"

a list of first books in a quadrilogy - just in case anyone might need them for book challenges like HRCYED 👀 (this also includes quadrilogies that have additional novellas or got prequels etc, because they were originally four books)
