I read this book for the first time sometime around the 5th grade, '86 or '87 I'd guess. It was my first "adult" novel. I was hooked on MHC after that and have pretty much read everything she's ever written.
I just re-read this book for the first time in years. It was such a really good story. It's fairly fast paced and the characters the action really grabbed my attention. Definitely a book that is on my favorite books of all time list.
