in the wake of a scary time (in america) artists come together and make comics about real queer experiences and history. this nonfiction queer comic anthology was released in 2020 before biden was declared winner, where lgbt folk are scared for their lives. Even when this comic was released in 2020, many of its stories seem to stay so so relevant, whether its feeling like an imposter queer, or being an asian in a “gay accepting” country, some of these hit so close to home. (one even focused on the philippines!)

its always nice to find stories to relate to and to see people have similar queer experiences as to yourself. Some comics felt so affirming, some funny, some very very informative.

I found some artists im really interested in, i nearly cried with some stories, I felt so good reading some.
