I really expected this to be more of an Abe/Janie book than a Renner/Tierney book. Honestly, that made me nervous. I often miss reading about that first thrill of attraction in books where the couple already has a relationship. Well, I was wrong on both fronts. This book had way more Renner/Tierney, probably 70% them and 30% Abe/Janie. And even though Abe/Janie had a relationship already, this go around was really sweet. Especially Abe. He was really just being himself and hoping Janie would realize how great they'd be together.

I was also afraid, once I realized how much it would be about Tierney, that she and Renner would have a major blowup over money and some sort of misunderstanding would be a major theme of the story. They kind of did, but it was much less stubborn (I don't know how else to put that) than I thought it would be and didn't really play into the story for too long.

Tobias is a great addition to this series and I really hope he gets his own story. In the meantime, the next is the one I've been waiting for since book 1. Kyle and Celia!

Perfectly fine romance, though I think that doing two different storylines/couples was not as good of an overall novel compared to sticking with one main couple arc.

Also, the whole plotline of Janie's stalker was dropped way too fast? And finding out Abe's sexual preferences made him suddenly seem super dominant alpha male?
Anyway, the Janie 'has a past and maybe has a stalker' could have been it's own book.
