Wow - this is a great anthology with a bunch of great authors - Stunich, Greenwood, Tape, Mackinnon, Anders, May, Adler, and Paige.. Here is what I have read so far:

See No Devils - C.M. Stunich (4 stars)
This is a nice teaser/prequel story. Rayne suddenly finds herself in a whole new world and needs to find her protectors - the 3 “corpses” who are based on the Hear No, See No, Speak No evil monkeys. It is a an interesting world and I look forward to reading more.

Fifth Soul - Laura Greenwood. (4 stars)
This is the first RH story in the Souls universe - I like Lola. She is is willing to fight for what she wants, even to go so far as to try to cover her mating mark. She is torn between 3 gamers and her best friend. It is a great story.

Charms of Attraction - Julia Clarke (3 stars)
Katrina is scared of her powers to influence perception. I liked the guys and Katrina,s sister. I didn’t quite get why Katrina was so scared of her powers, but I did like her progression during the story as she became more confident.

Hells Calling - Skye Mackinnon/Bea Paige (4 stars)
It always seems like a gamble when 2 authors team up, but Paige and Mackinnon are great together.
Hell’s Calling is a twist on Dante’s Inferno. A deal with the devil never works out as planned, and Ciera finds that out firsthand. She finds herself, 3 hot allies to help her navigate hell: an angel -Maro, hellhound - Cerberus (aka Ceb), and wolf - Plutus. Ciera is a great lead. She has had to make some tough, not so right choices, but she owns it and doesn’t whine about it. She is tough and resilient. I can’t wait to see where the rest of her journey takes her and to see the relationships continue to develop.

Ugly Magic - May Dawson (3.5 stars)
Fiona is a witch. She present an ugly facade to those around her. Case, Hayes, and Nick are Hunters on a mission. The story moves quickly. I didn’t quite get why she couldn’t acknowledge who she was.

My Soul to Keep - Jackie May (4.5 stars)
Kinsey accidentally sells her soul to the Keepers of the Underworld - Gabriel, Pierce, and Cyrus. This was such an interesting premise. I liked all of the characters and was rooting for them. I do wish that this was a full length novel so that I could spend more time with the characters

Blinded Beauty - Cecilia Randall (3 stars)
Mila has a good future ahead of her when she suddenly wakes up blind after having a dream, she is labeled flawed and cast out to the camps. Seven years later a storm comes and what comes with the storm changes everything.

Indebted to Vampires - Erin Bedford (2 stars)
The story ended without any kind of romance,

Demon in Distress - AE Kirk. (4 star)
“Harper” is a demon that somehow ends up in a Hunters body. This is a prequel novella. The story was interesting and unique - I look forward to seeing where the story leads.

I feel like it would have been good if there was more plot and less smut.

I had pretty high expextations, but it was unfortunately no better than average. While there was a few very good books, most of them were to short to be anything more than an introduction to there characters, and a lot of them also used there few pages on more smut than plot.
