Recs if you like Band Sinister...

Unsullied. Undefiled. Uninitiated. Untouched. Chaste. Pure. While the tired trope of virginal and inexperienced women abounds, particularly in historical romance but even in contemporary works, virginal men are much less common. With stories that can be refreshing and joyful, or not (lol), this list brings together heroes who’ve done little more than kiss. (Some of them haven’t even done that.) All romance sub-genres are included, except YA.

I went through all the books in the romance quest tab and here are all the ones where at least one of leads is in a relationship that is not "man and woman falling in love with each other." F/F, M/M, F/NBi, M/NBi, NBi/NBi, etc. Largely motivated by wanting to figure out which romance book quests I had a chance of getting the badges for. If I missed any, let me know. Quest specific info in the pinned comment.

If you're looking for something specific (or trying to avoid it), you can find this list with subcategories on our site.

All these books centre queer characters and/or relationships, but they are not always the sole central focus. Because we are more than who we love.
