0 0Sparkling, luminous, full of heart and joy and everything shiny. I get the feeling I’m never going to rate an Anna-Marie McLemore book less than five stars, even though this one (perhaps because it’s co-written? I’m not familiar with Mejia’s other books) plays considerably less into magical realism than AMM’s others I’ve read. It’s still magical (friendship is magic!), and still a gorgeous, touching read.
