Recs if you like The Vanishing Place...

Whether you are a horror lover, a thriller fanatic, a psychological suspense connoisseur, or you would rather something lighter for your October reads like a cosy fantasy or a comedic murder mystery, the PG Book Club has you sorted! Here you will find fiction recommendations across a broad range of genres, and maybe even a new favourite to share with your friends and family.

Whether it be the authors, the characters, the setting, or the country itself, these books are some of the essential reads of Aotearoa New Zealand. Fiction to nonfiction, prose to poetry, the stories of our people and our land are here. This list is ever-growing, and I will continue to add to it as I read more pukapuka from our shores.
