- Batman: The Man who Laughs
- Batman: The Long Halloween
- Batman: Dark Victory
- Batman Family Year One Robin: Year One Batgirl: Year One Nightwing: Year One
- Batman: The Killing Joke
- Batman: A Death in the Family
- Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying
- Batman: Knightfall Saga
- Batman: No Man's Land Saga
- Batman: Hush
- Batman: Under the Red Hood

- Batman: The Court of Owls (Scott Synder Saga, there is 10 volumes total in this one)
- OPTIONAL: Absolute Batman (New run, still releasing issues, basically separate from everything else so you can read it in isolation)
