I'll recommend one that I read earlier this year that has a similar refugee-war story as Persepolis. it's called The Best We Could Do. its a memoir from the perspective of a Vietnamese author who immigrated to the US after the fall of Saigon and then growing up in the states. its a history lesson and a wonderful narrative all in one!

I love this! over the past few years ive really come to love graphic narratives and I just started Persepolis. I'll make sure to check these out, too!
