Queer dystopian books

Finding love at the edge of the world. 🏳️‍🌈✨ This is a collection of stories where the systems have failed, but the human spirit (and queer joy) persists. From crumbling cities to desolate wastelands, these books explore identity, survival, and what it means to belong when the world as we know it is gone. I’m always looking to expand this list! Please drop a comment with your favorite queer dystopian reads to help this collection grow.

I recently saw an upgraded non ai cover (at least I hope it wasn't). But I definitely recommend the book nevertheless.

Yeah, it put me off reading it to start with too to be honest. The author has since changed the cover thankfully.

definitely taking yours and OP's responses into consideration! it's nice to know the author seemed to listen to feedback and provide a new cover. i understand the impulse from indie authors to resort to AI so i do try to be kinder but it's also exhausting to see, you know? 😔

if we survive this by raquel marie & the knight and the butcherbird by alix e. harrow fit this theme! the darkness outside us by eliot schrefer might potentially as well?

Thanks for the recommendations,I'll check them all out and potentially add them.
